Indulge in the magic of Denver’s new listening lounge at Baur’s with the soulful music of Jon Cleary and delicious New Orleans inspired faire.

A rare and intimate performance for Colorado music fans, Jon Cleary is a triple threat, combining soulful vocals, masterful piano skills, and a knack for composing infectious grooves with melodic hooks and sharp lyrics. With a new album slated for spring 2015, featuring three Allen Toussaint horn arrangements, music fans can expect a sneak peek at his latest works which are firmly based in the strong groove orientated tradition that is so much a part of Jon’s hometown of New Orleans. The perfect pairing for a Baur’s Listening Lounge premier launch party, the family friendly event will feature a number of traditional New Orleans style dishes and a chance to taste test executive chef Robert Grant, and proprietor Dory Ford’s edible creations before the restaurant opens in April. A family friendly event, the launch party will kick off March 22nd with the dinner service at 5 PM and the performance starting at 7 PM sharp.

A fundraising and gala event for the Music Appreciation Society, the performance will serve to help raise money for the new people’s piano, a 2001 Steinway Grand Piano which will grace the halls of Baur’s Listening Lounge, and will feature a number of intimate performances throughout the coming year. Ticket pricing is general admission seating first come, first served. However, patrons making donations of $25 or more will have preferred seating.
